Felt Flower

I am always looking to expand my craft. I hate going to the store and finding the same old flower that everyone is using. You can use these little felt flowers for hats, elastic headbands, and more!

Skill: Easy

Materials: 5 felt dots approx 1 inch in circumference ( i used 4 pink and 1 green)
                a hot glue gun

with each pink dot:

put a dot of hot glue in the center and fold in half

Then put a dot of hot glue into the center of the half and fold it in half again

You will now have 4 folded quarter pieces

now glue the backs of two of the petals together

now glue the remaining two petals in the open spaces on either side of the initial two petals

you will also glue the green dot in half once

glue the half leaf on the underside of the flower

Voila!

Photography Lace crown - How To

Don't you love all those little crowns you see for sale? So I love all things photo prop and I am always looking for other things to do on my own. This Wonderful project was inspired by belly beautiful portraits when she told me how easy it was.

Materials:

You can use any type of lace but you can buy shaped lace as pictured at most craft stores by the yard. I purchased a yard and was able to make seven of these crowns

Metallic acryllic paint

Paint brush or sponge

Fabric stiffener

Fabric glue or tacking

Cut lace to desired length, I trimmed my lace after the sixth point.

Spray with fabric stiffener as directed on bottle, It takes about an hour to dry

Then you can generously add paint to both sides of the crown and smooth with a  brush or sponge

Allow paint to dry

Align both ends of crown and secure with fabric glue

Voila!! super easy photography crown!
