Gentleman Top Hat

Skill: Easy

Materials: 5.50 mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
                  1 skein size 5 bulky yarn
Gauge: 5sc=2 inches

**pattern is worked in rounds** place marker if necessary


R1)6sc into 2nd ch from hook (6sc)
R2)2sc in each st around (12sc)
R3) *2sc in next st, sc in next st* rep from * around (18sc)
R4)*2sc in next st, sc in next 2 st* rep from * around, sl st in last st to join round (24sc)
R5)**** in back loops only (this row only)*** sc in each st around, join with sl st in beg sc to join
R6) sc in each st around
Rep R6 until piece measures 3 inches from start of hat

R1)***in back loops only(this row only) 2 sc in each st around, join with sl st in first sc to join
R2) sc in each st around, sl st in beg sc to join round
fasten off

  2. hi selena :) if you just keep with the same increase pattern, so the next row would be *2sc in next st, sc in next 3 st* then the following row would be *2 sc next st , sc next 4 st* and so on until you reach the size needed :) you can keep the rest of the instructions pretty much the same.
